##################### It's Been A Long Time... #####################

...Since we've rock and rolled...

That's right, it's been almost two years to the date since NCB last performed at the 2007 SoundQuilt in Gore, VA. After ten years of awesome music, we decided it was best for everyone to take a break. Well, everyone is rested and ready to play again.

Now, we'd love to tell you that we're embarking on a 30 show nationwide tour, but we're not at that point just yet. Instead, we've planned a small festival at a very special venue that many of you are familiar with - the Wathen Pier Ampitheater & Campgrounds, located on the beautiful Nanjemoy Creek in Welcome, MD.

It's going to be a great time - one that you're not going to want to miss. So here's your official invite!

***7-25-09 @ 3PM-Til - The WATH Party - The Wathen Pier Ampitheater and Campgrounds, Welcome, MD***

NCB will be performing two sets and will host very special guests Glorifried, Project 301 and The Beat Shaman.

Here are the details:

* Who: NCB, Glorifried, Project 301, The Beat Shaman, YOU & about one hundred of your closest friends

* What: The WATH Party (NOT Wathfest!!!)

* Where: The Wathen Pier Ampitheater and Campgrounds. 5660 Marshside Pl, Welcome, MD 20693, follow signs to the concert site.

* When: Saturday, July 25, 2009. Doors open @ 3PM; Music starts @ 5PM. Come early, stay late.

* Cost: Admission is FREE, but our costs to produce the festival are real, so your donations at the sound tent @ the fest ARE MOST WELCOME!

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING VERY CAREFULLY:

* Event is BYOEverything - Food, Drink, Cooler, Plenty of Water (no potable water on site), Sunscreen, Tent, Canopy, swimsuit, good vibes & attitude.

* Onsite camping is available and encouraged at no charge.

* Please come, have a good time and sleep it off down at the beautiful camping facilities at the Creek. ***IF YOU ARE DRUNK, BUZZED OR UNDER THE INFLUENCE AT ALL, AND DO NOT HAVE A DESIGNATED DRIVER, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE CONCERT GROUNDS - NO EXCEPTIONS. Charles County has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy, and be aware that CHARLES COUNTY'S FINEST ARE ALWAYS WATCHING YOU.*** ...Plus, we want you to be around for the next NCB reunion!

* There is no charge for parking. It's likely that you may not be able to tailgate or camp next to your car, due to the site layout. Bring portable camping & party gear!

* Vending is encouraged!

WATHFEST 2006 -- Thanks!!!

Wow, what a festival! We're all just now starting to wind down from the awesome time we had putting on WATHFEST 2006 this past weekend. It always amazes us how much better it gets, year after year. One of the things that stood out to us this year more than any other in the past is how much everyone comes together to make the festival the best it can be. Maybe we're just getting better at producing our own festivals, but it feels like it gets better each year with less of our own involvement. We like to think that is because of the great help and support we pull together every year to make this thing happen.

So on behalf of everyone in the band, we send out a special thanks to: The Wathen family, Mr. Mod Productions/Grayson & Laura, Shane, Lights Fantastic/Bob, Bobby, Dennis, Mandy, Emily, Joey T and Green Door Promotions/Tom. We definitely could not have put together such a great party without your help.
